CAMP SITE OPENS MAY 2022
Petersfield Village has a new caravan and camp site. It is a quiet and peaceful site well away from any main roads. It has a new toilet and shower facility, a shop for all those essentials such as milk, eggs, bacon, bread etc., and a lovely restaurant / cafe.
We have regular events at Peterfield including Farmers Markets, Medieval Rallies, Craft Fairs, Dog Shows and Boot Fairs.
As well as all the facilities to enjoy at Petersfield Village there are many places to visit locally, including the wonderful market town of Halstead just 5 minutes away, (winners of Essex in bloom for many years). ‘Halstead’ translates into ‘Healthy Place’ so it really is a great place to visit with many restautants, a small cinema, three supermarkets, museum and a few welcoming pubs and restaurants.
About 15 minutes south is the larger market town of Braintree, another great place to visit, once again plenty to see and do here including the discount Shopping Centre of Braintree Village and the old town of Braintree, some of which has not changed for hundreds of years.
