Even the Rain didn’t spoil things
After months of planning the first BIG event at Petersfield Village is hailed an enormous success!
Even the rain failed to dampen the spirits of the hundreds of visitors at the MGB and Sports Car show held at Petersfield Village in Gosfield on Sunday 29th May.
The cars which included cars from MGOC and MGCC started arriving at around 7.30 am and the field was full by 9.30. The show included a range of vehicles from classic MGB’s and MGC’s, MGA’s, a lovely Mercedes 190SL, and more classic pre 1990 cars too numerous to mention.
The crowds sarted to arrive and the whole place was buzzing by midday.
After looking round the classic sports cars many visitors then spent some time at the village shops and cabinet room, where they could enjoy live music from duo Loxley’s Corner whilst enjoying a gin and Tonic from Tipsy Bubbles and some lovely snacks and lunch from Fox in The Stables Tearooms.
The skies opened at about 3pm and pretty much finished off the show but not before everybody had a great time.
Charles Dawson, one of the Directors of Petersfield Village in Gosfield said “we are so pleased with the way our first big show turned out, it seemed like everyone had a great time, visitors and exhibitors alike and we are looking forward to our next event a big antiques fair on 23rd and 24th of July.”
