On Saturday 12th June we were pleased to be visited by the team from the BBC’s Antiques Road Trip.
The expert was Catherine Southon and the celebrity was Charlene White – news reader on ITN and presenter on Loose Women and recent competitor on ‘Celebrity Get Me out of Here.’
The pair arrived at around 4pm and were still shopping at 6pm.
Needless to say, they were very impressed with the selection of antiques at Petersfield Village.
They purchased a round rought iron tree table. As it happens, this one purchase raised over and above what was expected and made more money for the programmes chosen charity!
